Thanks! I am so lucky to live in a beautiful place with so many wonderful animals! They have taught me so much and are my passion, especially the horses. I've been riding a long time and had to teach myself bareback, before we could afford a saddle or lessons (although I still haven't got riding lessons, but I give them now) so I always tell others it's the best way to learn to ride! You learn to deal with a lot when doing everything bareback and being able to ride so many different horses is great for anyone's riding ability!

Yeah horse whisperer is one of my faves (could you possibly tell? haha)

She is a lovely horse, just had a filly foal who is turning out great so far! Exactly like her mum in looks and attitude

any time, lol actually i couldnt guess, however i would definetly say that the man from snowy river is

lol thats always good news then knew a horse in the Territory, in the yards she was fine, take her outside.... She'd kill you called her Pig cause thats all she ever did

haha yup you got it in one! Man From Snowy River is one that I can watch over and over in one day and never get bored!

Haha I've known a few of those horses... had a few nasty accidents with them too

hahaha yea im like that, own the first one and can just watch it all the time, though people dont like watching it with me cause i can almost quote the whole movie

haha yeah I have both the movies, can pretty much quote both, plus I used to be able to quote the poem... haven't tried in a while though!

I just don't understand people who have never seen it. I make them watch it straight away.

In fact I even made a facebook group dedicated to the man from snowy river because it's so awesome

ahhh the peom *thinks for a long time* ii have fond memories about that poem i heard it read when at the snowy river ranges and it was bout the most awesomest thing ever, and i know right made a friend watch it straight away when i learnt that they hadnt. can almost remember the whole poem too. also whats the face book group called... im joining

oh wow that would be awesome listening to it up in the snowys... the group's called "The Man From Snowy River Apreciation Society"
There's now a fan page which is bigger, but I've got photos and video and such on mine, so it's totally waaay better!

ahahaha you read my mind was going to add you anyway and sure thing ill search for it and be added in about 2 mins or so and i found the fan page but thats just about the movie not the poem as well seams most people only know of the movie

yeah it's wonderful to have that kind of trust with horses, or any animal for that matter!

actually this mare is due to give birth to her first foal next week so we're all very excited! It's by a buckskin quarter horse x aussie stock horse stallion, so we have a chance of a pally or buckskin which would be awesome
