The tears of blood are very brilliantly done, I think.

However, the carved out words just don't look convincing. I'm not sure how you would entirely fix it, as I don't do manipulations, but they look more like they're typed or drawn on there, than carved in. Maybe you should try finding reference pictures of people with things carved into their faces.

Nice picture, I think it would be great if you blur all the text just a little bit, so it looks like its on the face. (similar to the bottom part of the Y)
