How did you get those colours? Is it just the background or are there a few lights with different colour? What is your lighting setup?

This is one of the older ones, what means colors are just the result of the colored background.
The background is a 45% acrylglass-plate, behind it is a flash with colored foils on it. ( -> google "LEE Musterheft").
Like this the colours shine though the acryl glass and also give the water a bit of color.
But now i use printer ink, which gives the water an own, strong color.

to get it sharp u should use a good flash (from behind), an aperture about 16-18 and a fast shutter speed

That is absolutely stunning! How do you do this? Motion trigger I understand. But how do you acheive such a nice halo effect, do you have a dropper set to release to a timers or something?
