We got a project to do over the summer... Titled "Me Me Me". I hate summer projects and I hate projects all about you. Typical and feels such a cop out.I put everything else on hold and worked three days straight on this. Took quite some doing. And when I took it in it didn't even get looked at. ... There's incentive to work hard.
Darn. I can't believe I forgot moths for the five most evil things.

I love that bit about, "I'm at my happiest when I'm being sad" It's true...I can't create anthing good unless something is wrong. If life is peachy and grand I just can't make anything good come out...and then I eventually get depressed because all my sketches look like 2nd grade humiliation and my writing has no more value than stringing together my last 15 Facebook posts...until I get so depressed that I buckle down and work to my full potential, ignore everyone and rediscover myself... then I get too confident and happy, thus the cycle continues.

I realize I'm just another random commenter who found my way here via the DDs (many congrats, BTW), but this is awesome! You've made me appreciate black & white more (I tend to like lots of color, but you are so right about it ruining lines!), entertained me with your humor (I LOL'd for real!), and - completely opposite of your intention I suppose - I want to do this kind of thing myself, and assign it to my students (when I have them)! β₯
