This is definitely a photo I've always really liked, so I'm happy you could find it for yourself too!
I actually recently - sort of - did a new shoot where I featured this lovely curtain again and did both hands stuffs and me behind it... I should upload them [a few were on the more 'horror' edge, sort of but not hugely] Maybe if I'm lucky, I can tonight =]

And thank you for thinking so! The effort is certainly there! ^^ [Though, sometimes it gets a little lost ^^]

You're welcome! I really loved this one. I stared at it for awhile before i even commented. So much metaphorical meaning!

You definitely should upload them! I'd love to see them! The curtain makes everything seem foggy and hidden it adds to the supernatural feeling.

I know how you feel. I can get lost so many times. The good thing though is that you always end up with something beautiful to share in the end!

That's a very wonderful point, I especially like the textures you can see of it here, and overall its ability to create that mystical or lost or even haunting effect has popped up certainly more than once!

In one way or another! Sometimes even getting lost can be the most beautiful part =]

I know! I need to go back and look through some of my older stuff.

Titles can be so hard to brute force through. I'm not as creative with them as i should be.

It's hauntingly beautiful. I;d love to see more photos involving the curtain it makes for a very thought provoking picture. Just an idea, you're the artist so you have the power, but you love to focus on the uniqueness of the spine. What if you combined the hidden secrecy of the curtain with the bold distinct spine. Only an idea. I know i love ideas from other artists. Only if you wanted new inspiration.

Getting lost just means your art is forming a soul of its own. The art is controlling the artist. That's my favorite moment!

I know! They can be so awful >_> *pouts* I think I get too caught up in finding the "right" title/words for them XD

The best kind of beautiful It's really quite a fantastic curtain, it's too bad I usually forget about it because I'm either not going by my room or it's just so "there" that I forget entirely it has magical powers! XD

*tilts head for a moment* Wow, that's...that's a really good idea!!
How are you thinking of that being incorporated though? Or, more so, in what way? Like a gesture or...?

Any new ideas are always welcome, and sometimes ideas even come in neat little packages of pure unintentionalness! ^^

Ooooo, I SO know what that's like!! I experience it the most with my writing =] and it can be VERY cool ^^

Yay! I love it when i get enough motivation to do things!

I'm glad you like the idea. It just came to my mind as a random thought. Hmmm you could probably represent it in many ways. My first thought was having your bare back with the translucent curtain accentuating the spine. Especially if you did it in black and white the shadows would be beautiful.
Another idea is to have your hands maybe behind the curtain and you could curve it to represent the spine there's so many ideas for it!

Oooo, that is a pretty good idea. I actually just tried this out in a little shoot a couple of hours ago, because of time/lighting it didn't go off as well as it could, so I'm going to try again tomorrow, but I definitely think I'm gonna try pulling the curtain so it wraps around me and almost "tightens", I think it will lead to some fancy results ^^
The only problems I did run into was what to wear [it is my front window after all, and you know, that's not weird ] and how to get it done, in the sense that I don't have the benefit of volume to highlight the point as best as it could be done, but ah well.

And that's a really nifty one!! I'm definitely trying these out tomorrow! Thank you so uberly much!! ^^

And, fun fact: When you first mentioned this idea, I think in my head I got an image of how it would look and after looking through the photos [oddly not so much during the shoot] I realized how that initial photo image never accounted for scars. But that's okay because my back's scar is one I'm really going to focus in on tomorrow, yay ^^ Now, I'm off to start uploading some =]

Quite the length of a sacrifice! Ahaha, I always think that sometimes during particular shoots like "*freezing ass off outside* I do this for the art! *sacrifices*" XD

I hope so too! The biggest hurdle will be patience and more so getting myself of DA to do it XD
I've already uploaded some! I got one more going tonight before I flood some others to get myself off my page XD

Well, sometimes that sacrifice is worth it - unless you maintain bodily harm, then maybe not so much [though technically you could get some good artwork out of that too] XD

Ahaha yeah there're times when the sacrifice for the sake of art goes too far XD On the bright side if someone asks you what you're doing you can yell "I'm making art!" no one will question it.
