Personally picked by the Hive Queen herself, there is always a large number of Heirs protecting the inner sanctum, always at their Queen’s beckon. In case the Queen should ever die, any of the Heirs may be elevated up to Queen Status but there is usually a group census well before such a time as to who amongst them will take up the position. Heirs outside of the Hive usually direct the flow of combat, ordering Drones to target specific individuals or focusing Chargers to eradicate barriers. Usually differing only to the Queen herself but the Greenwood Hive obeys their King first and foremost, in fear he may simple eat them or their Queen if he should become displeased by their actions.
