My first emote!
Instead of going with some dumb choppy animation like most do on their first try, I decided to step back into familiar territory with static pixel art.
I think this is the first image in my gallery to have a moral. It tells you to reach for the stars. Dream big. And even though sometimes you can't pull it off, trying your darndest is fine, nine times out of ten. For instance, a year and a half ago I would've never dreamed that I would be doing emotes-even static ones. And here's the result.
EDIT: As per `CookiemagiK 's critique below, I changed the emote from green to blue and added a realistic shine. Looks a lot better now.

First off for your very first emoticon it is very lovely. The stars are nice however i do not think that should come so far down. Also great job on the moon. As well as this try fixing the colors on the person and maybe try to make it look like he is jumping if you were to animate it. So you kind of get the concept "Jumping for the stars" or "Reaching for the stars" Overall you did a very good job seeing as it was a first for you. My first was quite horrible and pixel(y) like you said. Just wanted to say that you should continue making more like these. Would love to see a version 2,3,4 for this one. Keep up the good work!

Thanks, I'll take that into consideration.
I didn't think that I did a very good job adding depth to the grass, so I put some extra stars down there to try and make the sky look more infinite. As for newer versions, `CookiemagiK said it'd be better if I added a shine to the emote and re-colored it to provide better differentiation from the grass. So yes, there will most likely be a v2, but I'll probably just replace this one with a different, better one.

i agree about the colour issue. on the screen i have got now all i see is a black box with one white corner.

Awesome work,I really like how it turned out but since the moon look so bright maybe you should brighten things up just a little because it's pretty,but quite hard to see
