I guess I've seen/ felt nearly all the characters you're showing in your gallery... but wow, it's pretty hard to paint them this way.
Of course everyone will see something different... Anyway.

That they do. Β It's very interesting to me to read people's reactions...especially when they interpret an image differently than I intended. Β What people see often says more about them, than it does an individual piece of art.

By the way I don't mean muted as thought the people in your paintings don't show emotion, but it always seems like a snapshot from a much larger scene.
