Olimar is not useless, is strong, and he ranked 3 on the tier list, ironically, Bowser is considered one of the worst characters in Brawl tier list.

Well, without any pikmin, he's near useless, but with his pikmin, he's actually one of the better characters in the game. B+ Tier in fact, which is a higher tier than C.Falcon. Mainly because of the variety and uses of the 5 different pikmin he can pluck.

Once you learn to use him, he is an advanced character. He's awesome in the pikmin games!

Olimar camps better than Snake and with pikmin can add some nasty damage to the foe.
Plus he has decent options overall, various KO moves, and a move that is quick to perform and has super armor!

Olimar is one of my favorites to use! he is surprisingly good, but then again i just know how well to work with him since i'm a big fan of Pikmin.
and that's not a fair fight! Bowser is too big and ugly.......or something like that.

Hey, I mean, what ever floats your boat, I'm more of a Link user, myself, but that's solely because I've learned all his little tricks and attacks and such, I'm pretty sure someone who really knows what they're doing could stomp my ass into the ground with Olimar, and honestly, I don't really mind all that much, it's a video game, for fuck's sake, you make mistakes and fuck up from time to time.
