This was the last day for the bird exhibit to be open at our zoo this year. It was a cold day and most all of the birds decided to stay indoors (smart birds!). The parakeets were have a field day though. On my first visit when the facility opened, they were too afraid to come close to visitors, but since then they have mastered the art! This one reminds me of my grandmother's parakeet who I adored as a child.......Location: Indianapolis Zoo
