I was planning to do a arc in my fanfic "Courage the Cowardly Dog Jr." where Junior has a dream that it's the old west and he's given the Sheriff star by his father (Courage Sr. of course) and takes over in cleaning up Dusty old Town from all sorts of supernatural outlaws.
I got the idea of this arc from that episode, the movie "House II: The Second Story", and the Johnny Cash song "Ghost Riders in the Sky".
