Description
These are the costume claws that I created for my original character. Their desging is (C) Natalie Blackburn; Do NOT Steal!These were made out of thick black material; modeled after opera gloves, the talons are eagle replicas but others can be substituted. The scales are made of cracked cowhide.
I will be taking commissions for these as well, any color or claw shape can be acheived. Scales or fur can be added as well as joints of feathers. Note me so that we can discuss the price (depending on complexity and time.)

Hello!
I made the gloves look like talons on my own, and the base for the gloves was taken by gutting a pair of opera gloves I found in a store called "The Icing". I didn't personally like their fabric choices or style (wrinkled too much), but a gutted one makes a great pattern. If you're looking for something to simply sew talons onto right out of the store, I suggest "Charming Charlie's" or "Claires" for better quality gloves to work with.

Thin leather, supple cut. I then used a backstitch to secure the bottom layer of leather to the glove, and used hot glue on the outside edges. Make sure, when using the hot glue, that you place a cardboard tube inside the glove, or you will glue your glove together. Use as little glue as possible.

I'd be looking for something virtually identical to these, but maybe a tad lighter in color with slightly padded fingers? Just past elbow length.

As far as colors go, the gloves come in white and black. I could get a silver pair for a slightly higher price (different base), but they tend not to hold the stretch as well.
Padding the fingers, I'm not sure what you mean? If you mean padding the tops or bottoms out with scaling, that's no problem and can easily be done.

If it's a gryphon costume, and those are the front legs, then shouldn't they be called talons?
Just judging by the curve of the claws. But, then again, I've never seen a Lion's claws before.
