I just finished to watch the two seasons of Handmaid's Tale... A blast... One of the most intelligent, painful and necessary show I ever watched. I've been deeply moved by Emily (Ofglen) and her story, (I will not spoil anything), this artwork is not a fanart or a tribute. It's a statement of what I defend, a poem to all my friends who's has ever been persecuted or misjudged. Hate never win, we always kiss on ruins of bad memories. I love you all.Related content

Nothing here is about my absolute representation of love, It's just a particular scene of love, I wanted to represent it like this because I wanted to show (for once) what I feel in my heart about my friends.

i never said its defined by it, i just noticed a clear shift in arts to portray the image of love in terms of couples by same sex people... i mean like, is the oppression of gay people in the past adding an additional impact on the meaning of the image?Β

Same sexΒ relationships have existed since the beginning of time, but it's less likely people are going to be stoned to death now for being open about it. I think art reflects that, either in the message the artist chooses, or simply in the way the artist feels, sometimes it's a statement, and sometimes it's just the natural evolution of the artist's expression. When we get to a point where you don't take notice one way or another, that will be good, but in the meantime, we've still got a long, long way to go.
