... only this is the point at which everyone gets out of the river. i think i'm right in saying that no-one has survived rafting the lower part of the congo river - i.e., from this point on. it roars.

Love the use of slow shutter/small aperture for great depth of field and water movement.. Nice perspective.

Great to see an old film camera still in use and proving that they are still capable of shots like this.

thanks, nigel, much appreciated. not much more than one needs in a camera than an accurate shutter and viewfinder ... good glass, accurate aperture, tripod and hand-held light meter help as well
