WONDERFUL piece you have done this time, dear. I loooove the colour and the concept in this one. It looks dark... like a scene from hell... Have you ever read the book the Hideaway by Dean Koontz? A scene described in that book is what this reminds me of. Hellish. but yet, so awe inspiring. awesome indeed. I definately could stare at this for hours. You are great!

OOh - I love the way you have achieved a sense of depth by adding
more and more darkness/black to the picture from bottom to top !!
That works really well. The color is great - the whole piece has the
feeling that this is a totum or figurehead in some tribe's holy meeting
place. This is wonderfully rich with texture - I can see every fiber that
makes up the "Elder". The image is very mysterious - makes me want
to reach and touch it but at the same time, be afraid of what might
happen if I did.

the deep brown red colors is so "intimate"...
the major shape is of an insect,
you're strugggling again (or you used to struggle)

Amazing one... truly Lovecraftian... the way you change known shapes and anatomy into something alien, how one seems to partially recognize known features which, however, have been recombined into something unknown... the mirroring is a clever idea - I seem to see little faces and stuff like organs resulting from this... well done!

There are countless images that come to mind when I look at this. It's teasing my eyes. I love it.
The tones are fun, toying in a sense. They are bright and illuminating, but they are also ominous and present the idea of fire, or a looming beast therein, I see everything from an 'elder' face, to a devil goat form, to everything. It's awesome.
