I cosplayed as Edward Elric from the anime Full Metal Alchemist on Friday of Fanime 2011. And I made my own Automail out of duct tape for it. It turned out really well actually!Related content

Mine is just chrome duck tape over a glove, most of the detail wore off

My detail is black duct tape. I did a couple of different layers to create a look that is 3D

I cheated and used sharpie. I'm making a new one, the base material I used was a leg off an old pair of leggings and a winter glove, and it gets too hot, and the tape is peeling off now.

stick the tape to itself rather than the glove and it won't peel. But having a glove is still good cause your hand is gonna get sweaty and the tape will get wet otherwise.
