Where did you see it? If it was in Eurasia, It's a Great Grey Heron. If it was in the Americas, It's a Great Blue heron.

I saw him in a mangrove called " La Barra de Santiago " in El Salvador  it's really helpful cuz I was trying to find the name of the bird and I couldn't  so thank you a lot  for your answer

Its Great Blue Heron- note the chestnut on the 'thighs' and on the shoulder.

It's not a pelican, it's a gray heron.
