Really awesome pic, though freaked the hell out of one of my friends, since in his words, "thats... me...." "like... I have the same necklaces and shit..." "what the fuck..." "I'm scared now..." and he also has a hyena character to portray himself with. XD

I like how you sketched in a couple different colors. It really gives some areas a sense of light (around the cigarette and lighter, obviously, but the boot closest to the front as well because the darkest shadows are hatched in with a cooler shade).
Nice design overall. You should draw him and Nina interacting in some way. They contrast a lot, design wise--it'd be interesting to see how their personalities compared *nod*
