Not so much of a huge fan but I still like RE series except RE6. I was kind of obsessed with Wesker. I slowly started to lose interest in RE since Wesker was confirmed dead and this Wesker was replaced by another 'Wesker' (his son).

Ah so you're still a huge fan for the classics. Not so much with the new. I understand. I can't quite bring myself to play the 6th one because of Jake. His existence is.... impossible in my opinion. Even if Wesker needed to blow off some steam i highly doubt he'd have unprotected sex unless he was going to study the effects of the virus potentially being passed on as a STD

Yeah, the classics are best. The new one, RE7, is amazing even though it's different and there are no returning characters except that Chris/HUNK (it could be a new character) in the ending. I tried to like Jake, because he is Wesker's son, but I felt like I was forcing myself. >_< He was cool at first and then I thought I still wanted the best Wesker to return. The best villain in RE series.

I'm glad you enjoyed RE 7. Personally i hated it. Being a horror nut i could name every movie and game that inspired every inch of that game. The hype really annoyed me too. Ah well maybe it will grow on me later.

I thought you liked RE7. o_o I remember you posted pictures about the game. It received positive reviews and ratings. Out of curiosity, what are reasons that you hated it?
Yeah, Jake will be forgotten soon. His existence seems like a sad excuse to please Wesker fans. XD What's your thought about Alex Wesker?

The picture i posted was a meme mocking the hype about RE 7 being scary. I posted Vin Diesel saying "i live for this shit" from tripple X. Meaning i wasn't scared XD. Anyways. I hated 7 because it was predictable. A blatent rip off of Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Evil Dead. Introduction of a random new character didn't sit well with me, no zombies. Just moulded beasties, bacteria b.o.w that behaved more like a parasitic lifeform with the collective consciousness / psychic stuff that Eviline could do. *cough cough* Alma *cough* (F.E.A.R.) and last but not least, Chris Redfield showing up at the end with a "reformed" Umbrella group thathad been surveyling the area for how long? And did nothing. I'm sorry to the fans that support he character redesign and reformed umbrella.... but with my 101 understanding of human psychology, there is NO FREAKEN WAY Chris would work for Umbrella. He'd be resentful and mistrustful to the core. I liked that he didn't have his massive bicepts anymore but his face was wrong. He looked likea damn crack addict!
Well i guess i shall see Jake for myself soon.... after I've beaten RE 5 again. I've only just got my hands on Revelations 2 so i haven't bumped into Alexis Wesker yet. Looking forward to it

Oh I get it now! XD Moulded creatures aren't frightening to me. They seem annoying. It could have been more interesting if there were more human enemies (Baker family, grotesque, ghostly, insane, hard to kill, etc). Monsters are usually created from scientific experimentation throughout the series. It baffles me how Eveline could control the parasites and how she appeared as a little girl magically. Some supernatural stuff or hallucination? I doubt the guy at the end is Chris Redfield. That would be totally out of character for him to work for Umbrella (or it's Neo-Umbrella now). Some fans said that guy was HUNK. It could be a new character using Chris's identity. Who knows? I have heard there will be another DLC where that 'Redfield' is the main character. Perhaps his true identity will be revealed.

Yeah the lack of creatures plus Jack Baker's final mutation with all those eyes felt off considering the moulded are supposed to be different from the virus b.o.ws... no veriety in monsters, the fact that everyone (except Lucas) was being controlled by Evelyn even though she is a host for bacteria.... not a parasite. I'd hate to burst Capcoms bubble but bacteria doesn't act like that
According to some, "blue Umbrella" is a reformed Umbrella corporation at the behest of the government and gave to prove themselves by fighting b.o.ws. "Redfield" is meant to be our Chris..... i really need the DLC "not a hero" to come out so i can find out for myself what this is all about.
