Process for Yore.This picture was done in Paint Tool SAI in about 6 hours.
1. Sketch
Actually, there was an even rougher one before this- but I lost it. I think I started out with maybe 7 colors, then went down to four, then realized only four was boring.
2. Detailing
Yes, We immediately skip to that.
a. starting on the head, base of neck, base of wings
b. refined neck more, just a bit of tweaking on the head
c. TREES YAY, fixing the wing.
3. MORE TREES AND GRASS, yay.
Massive cleaning up of background in general.
4. Some trees and grass and wingsies and feathers later: well, that was fast.

Once you erase it, YOU GO OVER THE SMOOTH EDGE WITH THE PIXEL BRUSH UGH.

But this is the great thing with few colors. It's not too painstaking to do. There are only two layers, so this doesn't pose much of a problem, eh, I just fix it up later.
