I'm liking the Stetson, myself... unlike the fez, Stetsons ARE cool (and Smith pulled it off). How dare that woman shoot it off his head?! She could have creased his skull!

Doctor 11(Matt Smith) is definitely performing as well as I hoped he would so far.
My fav adventure of his series is the dream lord story. (it really messed with my head!)
Its just the new rainbow dalleks that kinda bug me about the new series... :l
Though i'm very interested to see what plot-line youl come up with for him in your comic-blog series!

Just a small reference to the fez would've been nice to see, that's all. It was a silly little thing, but I think it added an interesting and amusing detail to Eleven's character...and I think when people look back at Eleven, they'll remember that fez.

Sorry, I just can't figure out why that little moment was so popular. I think as a little bit of throwaway fluff (clearly just made so that we'd know when he'd popped in from when he did the time jump to see Rory) it was okay. But every time someone draws the 11th Doctor he's got the damned fez on or nearby.
How come nobody remembers the 5th Doctor in a clown suit? He wore it for a whole 2 part episode!
Or the 3rd Doctor in drag? Or the 4th Doctor in his Sherlock Holmes outfit?
I'll be happy when the Fez moment is forgotten.

I think it's just something in the way that small bit is performed. Matt Smith adored the fez and had apparently wanted to keep it, but Moffat was one step ahead of him and had River and Amy destroy it (which they probably wanted to do to his bowties as well, but they're rather stuck on).
So I think the fez scenes are beloved because of Matt's loving delivery of the line, "Fezes are cool."
And River blasting it out of the sky was a pretty sweet moment as well.
Doctor: Violence is never the anwser! We do no just go and kill an innocent hat at the drop of a... well, hat...

Me too I gave him a chance and he exceeded my expectations, I love him, he is great, so how will you draw him?I mean you gave each doctor a great look but how will you draw eleven and do you think a mixture of the face of five and three an adaquate description of the eleventh doctor's face? I also love his catch phrase now, GERONIMO!!

Pretty much like the way I have drawn him. See above. I guess a mixture of the 3rd and 5th Doctors' faces is a fair description, though there's more to it than that. I draw him with a similar nose to Jon Pertwee and similar eyes and general face shape to Peter Davison.
As for catch phrases, I'm not fond of them, particularly "Geronimo" which can be taken as a racial reference used in ignorance. I'm happier when a "catch phrase" is accidently acquired (like Jon Pertwee's "reverse the polarity" catch phrase, adopted because the actor resorted to that comment when he couldn't remember the technobabble). To deliberately write one in is annoying. I was, however, very pleased to see that he didn't end up saying it every episode, but only maybe 3 times in the entire season. Hopefully it will be forgotten by the time his second season rolls around.

no but thats the catch phase and will say it as many times as ten said allons-y, maybe he will explainone day why he does say it but well with the revived series its more like each doctor has to have a catch phase of some sort. Nine said fantastic, ten had two, brilliant and allons y, actually probably a couple more like Oh yes and what? I wasn't sure about the catch phases as well but ya know when you jump into the unknown with no idea if you will be safe or not you might say the word geronimo, some people through out the years have said it once or twice so they just took it as catch phrase to use when he is gonna jump into the unknown not sure if he will live or die but going anyway.

Geronimo actually WAS accidental. Matt Smith ad libbed it for the time it appeared in The Eleventh Hour, and one other time. The rest... uh... weren't. Well, it was kind of accidental.
