Beautiful capture. I like the composition and, obviously, the focus.

It was made with a flash? Looks like sunshine.

The only way I can get my camera to shoot at high speed (over 1/180s)in manual is to turn the flash on . I just adjust flash to shoot straight up .

That's strange. I've got a k20d and I can shoot at any speed I want.
I once had the problem, that it won't shoot when the camera thought that it was to dark, but if you shoot in continous autofocus it should work.

I think it has something to do with the add on flash. Without it I can in manual, but not in green mode (auto mode). The auto focus on this lens (Sigma 180mm) is terrible for shooting macros /close-ups. Even with the limit switch .
The trouble I was having when taken these last photos , was one side had great sunlight and the other side of the bush was to dark . The sun at the time of these was about 2hrs till sunset.

You're absolutely right with the add on flash. Mine is limited to 180 too. So only with the build in flash you can get shorter shutter times. Only very expensive add on flashs support shorter shutter times.
