Description
*After uncovering the secret ruins in the woods, Mia and Aqua get to exploring them. Mia using her speed, and Aqua using her flight to search high and low for whatever treasure might be in there.*Mia: Alright, let's see what they got around here!
Aqua: Yeah! Secret underground ruins just scream treasure!
Mia: I know right?
Aqua: Mmhmm!
*The two continue exploring until they see a strange looking door.*
Mia: Aqua, look! There's a strange door up ahead of us!
Aqua: I see! Hmm...
*Aqua flies to the top of the door and sees if there's any way to get it open. Mia looks around down below and spots a panel with movable squares with strange symbols on them.*
Mia: Hmm? What is this about?
*Looking around the room, it seemed like there were parts of the symbols etched into the walls.*
Aqua: What did you find down there?
Mia: I found some strange symbols on the walls?
Aqua: And some panel with squares that rotate...? Hmm...okay...
*Aqua reaches into her satchel and pulls out a notebook and draws down the mechanism and the etchings of the symbols.*
Mia: I wonder what these are used for, will this help us open the door?
Aqua: I think so...But the rubble of the cave's blocking the etchings of the symbols...Hmm...Could you help me bust them open so we can see the symbols clearly?
Mia: Sure, I can do that!
*After getting into the running pose, Mia uses her boost to break open the piles of rubble to reveal the symbols hidden behind them. Now the symbols were fully visible, Aqua messed about with the mechanism for a bit before eventually getting the sequence right for the door to open.*
Mia: Wooohooo! We did it! The door is open!
Aqua: Yeah! Now let's see what's inside!
Mia: Alrighty then!
*The two made their way through the dark tunnel. There was nothing for a while, but a sudden blue light got the duo's attention. Upon getting closer to it, they found another Chaos Emerald.*
Mia: ! Oh my gosh, look!! It's one of the other Chaos Emeralds!
Aqua: Oh cool!
Mia: Heh heh, this is amazing!
*Mia holds up the Chaos Emerald in her hands.*
Aqua: Yeah! This is great!
*...But the celebration couldn't last as a low rumbling gets the duo's attention.*
Aqua: ...Uhh...Is that your tummy Mia...?
Mia: Uhh, no? That wasn't my stomach?
Aqua: Then...what was it...?
Mia: I have no idea? Should we check it out?
*Then, a low growl filled the cave the duo were in *
Aqua: Umm...No. We should go. Now.
Mia: Yeah, good idea! Let's get out of here, fast!
*Mia grabbed Aqua and the Chaos Emerald as she dashed her way out. Then, once they got back to their makeshift entrance, Aqua took over and picked Mia up and flew back up to the surface.*
Mia: Phew! Thank goodness, we made it out safely.
Aqua: Mhmm! And we got a good treasure from it too!
Mia: Mmhmm, that's very true!
Aqua: Okay, we should get back to the hideout now.
Mia: Right!
*The two then speed their way back to the hideout and report their find to Blitz and the others.*
Mia: Hey Blitz! We're back!
Blitz: Hey there! And ya got another Chaos Emerald I see.
Mia: Mmhm, Aqua and I found it in some strange cave.
Blitz: I see...and nothing tracked or followed you back here?
Mia: No, nothing followed us back here. We're safe.
Blitz: Okay...good.
Mia: *Sighs in relief*
Blitz: So that's three emeralds we have now...And according to Violet's clairvoyance, there's seven of them.
Mia: So that means we have a few more left we need to find.
Blitz: Yeah, but it also means we need modes of transport to get to the zones where they could be. Those materials you brought back from those pirates have allowed Boom and Tornado to make a Jet Ski out of them.
Mia: Oooh, that's awesome!
Blitz: Yeah.
Mia: I would love to test out that Jet Ski!
Blitz: Well, it's by the river that leads to the sea. You should be able to find Boom and Tornado with it too.
Mia: Alrighty then!
*Mia makes her way over to the river where Boom was with the finished Jet Ski while Tornado was fixing up a second one.*
Mia: Hey Boom, Hey Tornado! What's up?
Boom: *electronic squeak* Hello Mia.
Tornado: Hey there hun! How ya been?
Mia: I've been doing alright, managed to get another Chaos Emerald with Aqua.
Boom: *electronic voice* Hmm...Interesting.
Tornado: That's great, hun! I'm guessin' Blitz told ya about what we were workin' on?
Mia: Mmhmm! And I came to check it out.
Tornado: Well, we got one finished for now, and I'm workin' on a second one. So, would you like to test it out?
Mia: Oooh yes please!
Boom: electronic voice Hop on.
Mia: Wooohoo!
*After giving Mia the gist of how it worked, Mia took the Jet Ski down stream and out on the water to really give it a shot.*
Mia: Yahooo! This is amazing!
*On the jet ski, there was a radio, so Tornado and Boom could keep in touch.*
Tornado: Heh, sounds like yer havin' fun out there, hun!
Mia: Mmhmmm, I am and it's so cool!
Tornado: Great! Now listen up hun, we've heard about an industrial zone a fair ways away from our island which we could do with lookin' into. Do ya think you can manage that?
Mia: Yeah, I can do that!
Tornado: Great! Just watch yerself out there, hun.
Mia: I will, I promise!
*It took Mia a while, but she eventually made it to the industrial island. It looked darker, gloomier, and more like a concrete jungle compared to Jade hills.*
Mia: Oh gosh, this must be the place! It definitely looks very dark here
*Once Mia parked up the jet ski, she got to exploring the new island. As Mia explored, she found that encountering critters from the island was becoming less and less likely, and when she made it further, she saw metal structures being built far and wide.*
Mia: I think I must be getting closer? This place is so strange!
*But before she got too far, more of the bots that nearly caught Mia were roaming the streets.*
Mia: ?! Whoa, more bots ahead! Gotta deal with them first!
Security bot 1: MOBIAN DETECTED. INITIATING CAPTURE SEQUENCE.
*The three bots that spotted Mia drew chain guns and started firing at Mia. Thinking quickly, she boosts out of the way, and knocks them over.*
Mia: Ha! Ha! You can't catch me!! I'm too fast!
*As Mia gloated, One of the bots got back up and fired nets with weighted balls on it at Mia.Unfortunately, she got caught off guard and got caught.*
Mia: ! Aaaah!
Security Bot 3: MOBIAN CAPTURED. RETURNING TO BASE.
*Mia was struggling to get herself free, but luckily for her, someone was there to answer the call.*
???: Hey! Leave her alone ya metal jerks!
*From out of nowhere a lizard-like mobian appeared and cracked one of the security bots in the face with a bat, freeing Mia in the process as well.*
Mia: ? Huh, what the?
*The unknown mobian then went on to thrash and demolish the bots with his claws and tail, until they were nothing more than broken down, sparking piles of scrap.*
Mia: ! *Thinking: Oh wow!*
???: *pant...pant * You okay?
Mia: I-I'm okay now. Who are you?!
???: Name's Camo. I'mma Chameleon.
*Camo takes off his hockey mask to show his face. Two toned green, with orange and yellow eyes with red hair and orange highlights in it.*
Mia: T-Thanks for the save, my name's Mia.
Camo: Nice to meet ya, pussy cat. Now c'mon. It's not safe around here, as you can clearly tell. Or maybe ya wanna be public enemy number one for these bucket heads.
Mia: Y-Yeah, let's get going!
*Camo then leads Mia over to an RV that was parked in the bushes just outside of the city to avoid being caught by any more security bots.*
Camo: Hey guys, I'm back! Meet our newest recruit, Mia. Mia, in here we got, Cynthia the Crow, and Angel the Cat!
Mia: H-Heya!
Cynthia: ...
Angel: Hey.
Mia: I-It's nice to meet you two.
Camo: They're not really the social types. Our group took quite the beating 'cuz of them bucket heads out there. See, we're trying to hunt down these ancient gems that grant immense power so we can get rid of those things from Mobius.
Mia: O-Oh, I see! Wait, Do you mean the Chaos Emeralds?
Camo: I guess. Not seen 'em in person yet.
Mia: I've seen them!
Camo: Oh yeah? What do they look like?
Mia: They are small mystical gems that shine brightly in your hand.
Camo: I see...
Mia: Mmhmm!
Cynthia: ...Can we trust you?
Mia: Huh?! Well of course you can trust me!
Cynthia: ...Fine.
Mia: *Sighs softly*
Angel: Fine. We'll trust you.
Mia: Thank you, I promise I won't let you down.
Cynthia: Tch see to it that you don't
Camo: Alright Cyn, c'mon. No need for the aggro right now.
Mia: Mmmph....
Camo: Besides, since we lost a few of our members, we re gonna need any help we can get. So quit complaining.
Mia: *Thinking: Losing members...I wonder what's happened to them ?*
Cynthia: Tch...
Camo: Anyway, we heard that one of these "Chaos Emeralds" are in this Industrial Zone. ...Somewhere.
Mia: Then we should go and find it together.
Camo: That's the thing...We don't know where to start looking.
Mia: With my speed, I can check around the area faster.
Camo: Hmm...Well, alright then.
Mia: So I'll take a quick look around and come back here with the Emerald.
Camo: Alright then...If you're sure.
Mia: Makes my way outside as I go for a quick run
*Mia boosts around the industrial area, using the girders, and scaffolding to reach higher ground.*
Mia: Hmmm...now let's see...
*Looking around, nothing seemed to stick out as to where the emerald could be.*
Mia: Nngh, I still don't see it?
*It seemed like not all the emeralds were going to be easy to find. Especially since there were different islands to explore.*
Mia: It has to be somewhere, but which part am I missing? Come on, think Mia!
*Speeding around the zone, Mia still wasn't able to track down anything related to the Chaos Emerald. Then it clicked. Violet was clairvoyant. Maybe she could help.*
Mia: ! I should ask Violet for help!
*It would mean going all the way back to Jade Hills, but it beat looking blindly and a potential third party finding the emerald before the crew at Jade Hills did.*
Mia: Hmmmph, what should I do?
*Deciding there wasn't much else for it, Mia heads back to the caravan, tells Camo, Angel and Cynthia her plan, and heads back to the Jet Ski and returns to Jade Hills. After Mia rode the waves of the wide, vast ocean, she returned to the dock on the river, and made her way back to the Jade Hills hideout. It was dark, and it seemed like everyone was asleep, except for Violet.*
Mia: Hey Violet. I'm back!
Violet: Indeed you are.
Mia: I need you to come back with me to help with finding another Emerald.
Violet: It's better if I don't. I'm clairvoyant. And the less people know about that the better.
Mia: R-Right!
Violet: I can show you where the emerald is.
Mia: Sure, that would be nice.
*Violet takes Mia's hands, and she sees a vision of a quake in the ground near the center of the Industrial Zone hidden behind a wall.*
Mia: ! *Thinking: There it is!*
Violet: There.
Mia: Thanks!
Violet: You're welcome.
Mia: I'll be making my way back now, I'll see you later.
Violet: At this time of night?
Mia: Well I'm not tired yet?
Violet: Hmm...Strange. But not surprising.
Mia: But I guess I do need some sleep, it is important after all.
Violet: Indeed.
Mia: I'll head to bed, goodnight.
Violet: Goodnight Mia.
*Mia heads to her room to sleep. After a good night's rest, and getting some food in her belly, Mia gets herself ready and heads back out to the industrial zone, and with the knowledge of the Chaos Emerald's location, she makes her way to where Violet's vision showed her.*
Mia: Alright, this should be the right spot I was shown.
*Mia was stood at the crack in the ground. Now she just needed a way down.*
Mia: Now to find a safe way to get down
*Maybe a good spindash would do it? Mia curls into a ball and with a burst of speed she spindashes up the wall and uses the boost to crash through the floor. And waiting inside was a yellow Chaos Emerald on a pedestal.*
Mia: Alright, I made it inside! ! There it is, it's the emerald! Just right over there!
*Mia quickly heads over and grabs the emerald before boosting back up to the surface.*
Mia: Phew! I did it!
*Another Emerald down! With that, Mia returned to Camo and the others at the caravan to show what she found.*
Mia: I'm back and I found the Emerald!
Camo: So that's what they look like!
Angel: I can feel its energy alright...
Cynthia: It'd make the perfect power source.
Mia: What were you all gonna use the Emerald for?
Camo: Like I said, we were gonna use all seven to rid this island of the Security bots.
Mia: Right, I remembered that part.
Cynthia: So what didn't you remember? That's our only plan.
Angel: I think she meant what WE plan on using it for.
Cynthia: Oh.
*Mia nods softly*
Angel: Well, I was mainly helping these two look for them.
Cynthia: I was going to use it as a power source for inventions.
Mia: Oooh, that's nice!
Camo: But, we don't know where the other six are. Besides, the feeling coming from this thing, this is more than enough for what we need.
Mia: That's good to hear.
Angel: Do you need the Chaos Emerald for anything Mia?
Mia: I'm collecting them up for my team back at Jade Hill.
Camo: I'm guessing these folks are in the same situation as us?
Mia: Yeah, that's right.
Cynthia: And what's the robot situation over there?
Mia: They're also attacking us.
Cynthia: I figured as much. They ARE capturing Mobians y'know?
Mia: *Nods* Yeah, I know that.
Angel: Well, thank you for your help Mia.
Mia: You're welcome!
*Deciding to leave the Chaos Emerald with Camo and his team for now, Mia makes her way back to the Jet Ski, but before she could get on it, a grey hedgehog with three long blue quills was in her way.*
???: So you're the little cat that's been getting in our way.
Mia: H-Huh? Uh, who are you?
???: My name is none of your business. But, I'm not here to argue. I want to know where the Chaos Emeralds are.
Mia: Like I'm gonna tell you that!
???: ...Somehow I knew you were going to say that. No matter. I have ways of making people talk.
*The hedgehog holds an arm out, and a fizzling black and white energy flowing from his hand forms into a sword.*
Mia: ! What?!
???: Now, last chance. Where. Are. The Chaos Emeralds.
*The Hedgehog's eyes were purple with black and white pupils and were ready to attack.*
???: ...Okay. Don't say I didn't warn you.
Mia: ?!
*Mia uses her speed to move out of the way, however she wasn t alone. The hedgehog was a speedster too and zoomed over to Mia's position to attack, swinging the energy blade around with the intent to kill. Sparks flying off the trees and ground from the impacts Mia was managing to avoid. She yelps as she keeps dodging.*
???: Hmm. So you're a speedster too. What a pain.
Mia: I don't know who you are, but I can tell you're not good!
???: This isn't about good or evil. This is about getting a job done.
*SLASH!! The hedgehog goes for an overhead slash, which Mia dodged around, but the unknown hedgehog sensed Mia's movement and turned around and lifted her up by her scarf. As she began to panic, instinct kicked in, and using her lighting powered boost, her claws conducted the electricity, and she sliced the hedgehog in the face. The power of the slice also left three deep claw marks in the tree behind him. As Mia looked at her hand, and back to the hedgehog, she saw the bloodied scratch regenerate and the fur grow back over it. The hedgehog looked slightly agitated from Mia's attack.*
???: *...exhale* Bad move.
Mia: ! Ah!
???: ...Now for me to return the favour.
Mia: O-Oh no!
*As the hedgehog went in to attack, a loud crack got Mia's attention, Camo dropped in from the treetop and attacked the attacking hedgehog with his bat. Angel kicked him backwards, and Cynthia threw spiked feathers at the ground in front of them causing them to explode. And as the smoke cleared, the hedgehog was gone.*
Camo: Freakin' jerk. You okay?
Mia: I-I'm alright, I wasn't hurt too badly!
Cynthia: You should go back to Jade Hills...
Mia: Alright, I'll go do that.
Angel: We'll handle everything here. You get back over there. I get the feeling whoever that hedgehog's working for, they want these emeralds too.
Mia: Yeah, and it's definitely not for a good reason!
Cynthia: No. Clearly not.
Mia: Mmhmm!
*With that, Mia sails back to the Jade Hills and reports the news to everybody. Now with everyone on high alert, and wary about the outside islands, the third party had made themselves known.*
