Kudos to Bee Eaters for being THE most awsome birds in the history of the universe
Well I think I can safely say I'm pretty happy with this one. At least I am with the foreground - those two flying birds in the corner annoy me somewhat for reasons I cannot place, but whatever.
This is also the longest I've spent on a background (if you can call it that). Normally I start and finish a project in an afternoon or two, but this has been my baby for more than a week now thanks to the damn blossoms. References were used, but they were still HARD T_T

As for the feathers, I did a blank base colour and then sketched the feathers on in a slightly darker shade and then highlighted with a large blurry brush in a higher sat/lighter shade ^^

Ahh glad to hear it ^^ I hope your maths exam went well - maths was never my strong point and I was convinced I was going to fail but thankfully I scraped a C which was enough for college ^^
Oooh I've never been to MCM before and I really want to go this year but unfortunately I can't find anyone to go with, so I'm debating whether to just go by myself and be an epic loner or whether to drag my poor sister along XD Awsome to hear your going though - have you been to London before?
