Biography:
Jeanette Theresa Harvey grew up in Harrison, NY with her family. Half her immediate family hails from Cuba while the other half were former slaves. Jeanette is the second child of Herbert Harvey and Rute Galvina. Her siblings were three brothers and one sister; Elmer, Lester, Ester, and Thomas. All three of her brothers were protective, but not overly so. Elmer taught her how to box to protect herself. Lester and Ester would spend the most time with Jeanette though. Jeanette was furthest apart from her father, as he always worked his two jobs. In the morning, he'd work on road construction, then at night, he worked as an assembly line worker. Her mother, Rute, stayed at home. Even though it was possible for her to get a job, she just preferred the sanctity of her home. To help out, Jeanette's brother got jobs too, but with a household of 7, it was still hard. Jeanette loved her family dearly, but she sometimes felt like she wanted a different life for herself.

When she became 20, Jeanette moved away to get a job in the big city. She no longer wanted to burden her family, with her presense causing more expenses. Both sides of her family would send her flowers to remind her of them or just as gifts. Because of this, she learned how to make use of the gifts that were sent to her and used them for defense. Her job search turned out no results. With not much luck anywhere else, she went from gentlemen's club to gentlemen's club. Jeanette wasn't naive to the form of her body. She knew it was burlesque material and she also had a nack for dancing and putting on a show.

When her family found out, they told her that she was performing undesirable acts and that she should discontinue working in a burlesque. Jeanette quit her job, not wanting to hear more from her family. She then tried her hardest to get a job anywhere else. She ended up in a clothing store that also did tailoring, and she made use of her mother's teachings. However, in some form of rebellion, Jeanette got a job at another burlesque that she found; Velvet Trap. Their atmosphere was much better than any other burlesque that she'd worked in. She decided to continue to mislead her family and work at Velvet Trap for as long as she could.
