So I’ll start by saying this isn’t gonna go down like you think it will.
Vegeta is a character with a complicated, yet simple mindset (cuz that makes sense). His convo with Trunks, added to this, doesn’t equal a sudden epiphany of love. He just realizes that he has more to think about than he believed before. The fact that he has some sort of reaction to Bulma being upset increases it by just a bit.
Anyway, this was probably my favorite page to draw so far. Trunks with his jacket and getting killed, Bulma asleep after… stuff.
Funnily enough, I actually originally drew Bulma looking a lot more peaceful and elegant looking in her sleep. But then I was like, “…This is Bulma. She kicks the covers off.” So I figured showing her more like a human AHEM natural would be better, as well as giving an insight as to how Vegeta sees her.
That being said, this will be the last page with a teary Bulma

Oh, of course... I see. Hope Vegeta's presence can cheer her up. I know he's not much for words, but maybe just him being there will assuage the pain a little...
