Ta daaaaaaa! My second Homunculus picture: Envy! Envy rocks, y'all!So, there are spoilers ahead for the final few episodes of the anime series, so do not read on if you do not wish to be spoiled.

Okay. So this is Envy halfway through morphing from his "real" face to his preferred face. This was actually a fairly easy piece. The morph-glow was really fun!
The only problem I could see arising is that normally Envy morphs horizontally and in this picture he's morphing vertically. But to get across the message I wanted to convey, it had to be vertical. If you're a stickler for those kinds of things, sorry, I took some poetic license. I figure if he can morph into anyone he wants, he should be able to morph any way he wants.

I detest Envy so much in the manga. In the 2003 series, I still hate him for all the things he did, but his backstory broke my heart. You've done a really amazing job.

Sakurathecat9 That`s because Envy in the 2003 Anime was transmuted from William,Hohenheim`s firstborn son with Dante who died of Mercury Poisoning at 19.Hohenheim created the transmutation of William but almost immediately after "abandoned him to live with his perfect wife and kids." hence why he became Envy,the First Homunculus in that continuity. Subsequently,he was taken in by his human self`s mother Dante whose misanthropic philosophy he happily embraced due to his hatred and resentment for Hohenheim which would later translate into a sadistic desire to see humans suffer for having the life he felt he deserved. How his shapeshifting ties into this should be obvious. Also,Envy,Dante and Hohenheim being the oldest characters in The 2003 Anime is sometimes emphasized by them having hints of an English accent in TheΒ Dub(Even though their VAs are an Australian-born Canadian and two Texans,respectively).

He's SO awesome.
I don't mind the vertical morph if it's an excuse to draw both his favourite and his real face. Both say a lot about him.
Also love the glow effect and the way his trademark smirk stays the same even when the rest of his face changes - that expression always gives him away, no matter what face he's wearing.
This = awesome.

Diagonal would have been hard, though, 'cause then I would have had to compromise one side of his face and you wouldn't be able to tell who he was turning into.
