Description
On March 15, 2002, Blue Sky Studios, the animation arm of 20th Century Fox released an animated film about prehistoric creatures that were not dinosaurs. That movie was Ice Age, which told the story of a woolly mammoth named Manny, a giant ground sloth named Sid and a smilodon named Diego and their journey to bring a baby back to his tribe. On the side, a sabre-toothed squirrel named Scrat is finding a place to bury his acorn, but is unsuccessful. Like Shrek and Toy Story, the popularity of Ice Age led to sequels spanning from 2006 to 2016.
