Evening all.

So today was rather hot and sunny so I decided to go for a short walk right before the twilight hours as it had cooled off considerably and there was a rather lovely sunset. During my stroll, however, I got the feeling that I was being watched and followed. I looked around but didn't see anyone or thing around aside from a black cat. I asked the cat if was watching me and it just blinked then started grooming itself. I shrugged and started to head home when the cat seemed to look at something in the tall shrubs nearby. I followed the cat's line of sight and spotted a strange looking gnome peeking out from the darkness. I gave him an awkward smile and wave as I have to admit his odd behavior was a bit off putting. He smiled back and gave a friendly wave saying, "Nice night huh?" I nodded, "Yeah, lovely sunset. Love the gold and pinks." He continued smiling and said, "I like when it covers the sky. Looks like a big rainbow blanket... Well Good Night. Happy trails!" I reciprocated his farewell then made my way home after getting permission to take a couple shots of him.

Overall it was an odd encounter. I mean he seemed friendly enough but something about him just felt,.. off. Can't quite put my finger on it...
