Howdy all,

Hope you're all doing well this evening. Weather's been pretty hot here at the den, though it did drop by about 10 degrees yesterday and even drizzled a bit. Was a nice reprieve from what was otherwise a week of sun and little to no clouds. And while this in itself is a bit interesting the real reason I'm posting is because with this sudden cold front came a visitor:

This fellow is the Winter Wizard. Some of the gnomes refer to him as "Frost" or "Snow." If you couldn't guess by his appearance or titles he's not one that usually makes an appearance this far south during the summer. But I believe he and the witch that's recently taken up residency are old acquaintances. I think they may have something of a friendly rivalry or something. Overheard her mention, "How's my sister?" at one point so maybe they're family friends? Not too sure. I will say though that his arrival was most unexpected. I literally bumped into him on the couch. He'd already been let inside by the other gnomes and I guess none of them figured they needed to inform me...sigh. Ah well, least he seems well mannered enough. He's now made a little space for himself in the icebox.
