Evening All

So after several days of rain it's finally started to clear up a bit. I decided to take the opportunity to check up on some of my potted plants this afternoon only to find a gnome had beaten me to it. He casually went about pruning the flowers as I approached him and wished me a "fair afternoon." I inquired if he was a member of "Mormor's" troupe and he replied he indeed was one of her traveling companions. I asked him if he'd been outside my home long to which he replied he a few others arrived yesterday. I told him that he and the others were welcome inside but he shook his head saying the shed out back was fine. I then asked about the rain and if he and/or any of the others were cold to which he said it wasn't too bad at the moment but he wouldn't object to warming himself by the stove later and having some hot tea. He then told me that working after the rain can make some tasks like removing harmful plants easier as the soil is softened. I asked about the others again and if they happened be to about and was told that they've all gone out to work on some chores but he'd pass the word along that they're welcome to come inside when they want.
