Evening All

Was out for a short walk tonight to calm my mind and process the day's events when I encountered this fellow. He was wandering the tall grass and occasionally looking up at the sky. I asked him if he was searching for something and he told me he was just trying to find a decent spot to observe the New Moon in Aries. He informed me that there's actually a solar eclipse occurring with it but sadly it's only visible in the southern hemisphere. Even so, it's a good time to perform some rituals for a fresh start and to muster up courage and strength.

I helped him locate a clearing with no tall trees or houses to obstruct the view of the sky then gave him a small blanket to sit on. He thanked me, handed me a tiny garnet stone, then started setting up his spot. I offered him a stay in the Den and told him there were other gnomes there and that I was a friend of Skald. He seemed to ponder over the offer for a moment then said he'd stop by later after the eclipse. He also told me he had several other friends that are fairly adept in the magical arts as well that might take me up on my offer. So it seems I may have some wizardly gnomes joining the Den soon. ^_^
