Rain, rain, rain rain..

Boy, I think those couple days of warm sun right at the start of Spring must have been brought by Spring magic as it has pretty much been pouring ever since. Alas, that means it's been difficult going out and looking for some new tenants as many take cover and hide away during the downpours. Well, all save for some of the aquatic ones, but Bowen (my house brownie) REALLY doesn't want me to bring in many water Fae as I guess they tend to require a lot of water to be comfortable and can be very messy at times.

That said, I do have my Welcome sign out now and it has already brought a new friend to my door . This older fellow is an artist and primarily works with paints. As it's been raining nearly nonstop we decided to pass the time by painting a night scene; one of the few times I've really ever tried painting on canvas and it was a fun learning experience. Photos below are of the gnome showing off our work.
