Personally, I loved the first version you did more. Granted this is more in-line with the show, I find your alternate version a much better evolution of Spike in a less....friendly setting.

That is pretty awesome. Wondering if this is pre his Captain status of the 2nd Unicorn Company. Though i guess that would mean ol Spikes seen a lot of action. Kinda figured him being in the same company as the CMC with them all losing a sibling of sorts in that one battle you had drawn.
