Well Laverne Cox, the actress who is playing Frankenfurter, transitioned from male to female. I think she'll fit in the role.

Still though Tim Curry will always be Dr.Frankenfurter in my eyes. But that doesn't mean she won't do a good job ((if she does)) it's just she'll never live up to the image. But hey that's just my personal opinion.
