Set in 1985, the story follows Jack "Joker" Napier, a notorious outlaw clown accidentally sent back to 1939 in a time-travelling Bat-Mobile (that he stole from the Bat-Cave without the Batman on his tail) built by his eccentric scientist friend Doctor Victor "Freeze" Fries. Trapped in the past, Joker inadvertently prevents Bruce Wayne's parents death (the Dark Knight's Origin) -- threatening his very existence -- and is forced to do the unthinkable and kill his parents and somehow return to the future.

Jack Napier, a 17-year-old outlaw Joker, is accidentally sent forty-six years into the past in a time-travelling Bat-Mobile (stolen from the Bat-Cave) invented by his close friend, the eccentric scientist Dr. Freeze.

IN this 1980s DC sci-fi classic, small-town Gotham teen outlaw Jack "Joker" Napier is thrown back into the 30s when an experiment by his eccentric scientist friend Dr. Freeze goes awry. Travelling through time in a modified Bat-Mobile (that he stole from the Bat-Cave before the Batman is on his tail), Joker encounters a young version of Bruce Wayne as a child and his parents (Dr. Thomas Gabriel Wayne and Martha Wayne), and must make sure that Bruce Wayne must witness the murder of his parents or he'll cease to exist. Even more dauntingly, Joker has to return to his own time and save the life of Dr. Freeze.

Bat-Mobile of the Future features a 1985-era cast that includes Kaley Cuoco as Joker's girlfriend Harley Quinn, and Loren Lester, Yuri Lowenthal and Jensen Ackles as Batman's Boy Wonders NightWing, Robin and Red Hood respectively. Kevin Conroy as Bruce Wayne/Batman. Lake Bell portrays as Ivy "Pamela" Pepper, who tells Joker about the murder of Wayne's parents in Park Row, later called Crime Alley. Richard Moll as Harvey Dent: the judge for the Battle of the Villains contest. David Warner and Helen Slater portray the League of Assassins leaders.

The 1939-era cast includes Grey DeLisle-Griffin and Kevin McKidd as Bruce Wayne's parents Thomas Wayne and Martha Wayne respectively, and Ariel Winter as Martha's younger sister Carrie. Bane's gang includes Andrew Kishino as Murray, Maury sterling as Paris and Anna Vocino as Jeannie. Lincoln Melcher, Grey Griffin and Tara Strong as Dickie, Jason and Timmy: 1939 street-wise orphans. Carol Kane as Iceberg Lounge cafe owner Gertrude Kapelput and David Mazouz appears as her employee of the Iceberg Lounge (and future boy billionaire) Bruce Wayne. Stuart Allen portrays Tim Drake's cousin Damien, Ben McKenzie appears as James Gordon, and Robin Atkin Downes portrays Harvey Bullock, the youth who interrupts Thomas and Martha's deaths at Crime Alley.
