This crossover was sparked by a fellow watcher:I was overwhelmed with so much pic ideas that I eventually couldn't decide which character to draw next. When Yuffie was suggested I remembered she was a ninja.
At first I wanted to draw a FFVII-Naruto crossover, but since my bro already did the Deadpool-Naruto I decided to put Ryu instead... Cause I freaking LOVE his design!!!
Why is Ryu looking at Yuffie so menacingly?
Well... what she is holding is the talisman that Ryu uses to power up his Dragon Sword to it's maximum potential. Since Yuffie is obsessed with Materia she "accidentally" stole the Dragon Sword gem, and Ryu wants it back....
