With the addition of Saria, this is now an outdated group picture, but I still like it. I really need to spend some more time fiddling with backgrounds, because I only barely know what I'm doing with them. So much trial and error.Related content

I'd kind of see Ryan, if he were also added as Saia is, more in the corner/far side of his panel. Sort of would be turned away, and just kind of glancing back while his partner is actually more the center focus of it all. I'm not sure if we're wanting to have a main protagonist before then. I kind of have ideas, but nothing more vague than sort of what the Adventure 01 kids go through, with Devimon and his followers, then afterward leading into the Myotismon saga.
Mainly, I like the idea of Ryan and his partner not actually becoming too involved in the story-line until after they return back to the human world for the first time. My thoughts are that his partner has been communicating with Ryan through the computer or something, but isn't able to get out of the digital world until the others do. He pretty much tags along through the portal, following undetected. He'd be really careful in not actually attacking them/Ethan and Ormrmon much (maybe would have made a few attempts, but always thwarted because of being outmatched in numbers). He'd come to the conclusion that he needs to digivolve to his ultimate form and thus needs Ryan at that point.
Just some ideas I've been thinking of, in trying to flesh out more for his partner since I haven't done much else yet.

That makes sense. I'm so far thinking more general-type things for them right now, ultimately leading to them getting a full picture of what happened before they arrived and what sort of dangers they're up against. Not necessarily solving any major problems, but finding what they need to focus on and just enough to give them a reason to go back.

Yeah, things were kind of hectic when I drew this, because of work and cons and cosplay. Literally started working on it while in a houseful of relatives when I went to my uncle's funeral. Everyone there was either much younger or older than me, so I just parked by the kitchen door and drew on my computer. First time to draw digitally and not care that I had a big audience almost the entire time.

My friends and I are loosely working on a roleplay with the group; we have the basic idea of the story worked out, but we're writing it really casual/slow and it'll be a while before we have enough of anything to share it properly. @u @;;
