towering walls of turbulent water form a path to a memento of luebella's greatest sin. lurking. beyond the vertical surfaces of the water, the eyes of all her past creations watch on and pass judgment. lost souls of her making rear up in anger and despair, only to crash back into the ebbing waves.
thousands upon thousands of echoes, all sporting familiar antler-like structures. twigs, branches, roots, snapped from the wych elm that gave them new life. that gave them suffering. that created them all in her image.
luebella cannot bring herself to meet their eyes.
