When Mega Man Zero was announced, I thought, "ANOTHER Mega Man series?! How many can one fanboy handle?" Don't get me wrong - I'm happy with the game itself. But I just had to take the piss out of Capcom for taking the saga to the nth level.So I made a parody of the "Not Another Teen Movie" poster and labelled each character from the MM and MMX with the same nicknames used in the original poster. I would have liked to toss in key characters like Dr Light, Dr Wily and Sigma, but I ran out of nicknames by then and couldn't really find ones that would suit them well. Still, this picture generated quite a few larfs on the bulletin boards and won the "Pic of the Update" award at Mechadrake Assemblies. I suppose its success speaks for itself. ^_^

Actually the issue's been fixed. I just needed to download the software for the controller again. Anyway the game is fantastic! Also hard as shit but still fantastic! Two hours in and only two bosses defeated. It's like playing Mega Man X3 all over again!

Joy to key, look it up, awesome program for remapping keyboards keys to your joypad. Takes some slight setting up, but worth it. Works for ANY games that uses keyboard inputs, and has its own profiler, so you can have separate game setups.

I never thought about an old skool revamp of the MMX series. Given the success of MM9 and MM10, it's a tempting opportunity, but Capcom seem to be giving Megsy the cold should just now. I guess there really will be "not another Mega Man game".

I would love to see a 2.5D Megaman X game! Make all the characters look clunky again, instead of their slicker redesign. It makes them look more like humans than robots.
