Do you ever feel like you're out of place?Or out of time?
The people around you don't understand,
and the world around you gets worse.
All the music is old
All the movies are without plots
All the kids are on drugs
and all the adults don't care.
I would've been so much better off
ten or twenty years ago
Or ten or twenty years in the future.
Where the media was fresh
Or when the media will be new
When the stories captivate you
Or when you can be taken to other worlds.
But in the back of my mind, I know
that no matter where, or when I am,
I will always want more
And then I will want less
I will want to be older,
And then younger.
But the one thing that I can say I truly hate about myself,
Is not being happy with what I have when I have it.
I wish my mind would let me live without worry
I wish my mind would let me love without fear
I wish my mind would let me change the world
My mind...
My mind...
Let me go.
