Description Liquid courage is what you call it
Who is to say you're as courageous as you think?
You,
with your legs sprawled
and your mouth agape
Your insecurities lying on the floor
staring you in the face

It's dark
and grave
and somber
How can you bear to watch?
Or do you?

Like Jericho,
your walls came tumbling down
yet again,
again,
again

The repetition of your mistakes
soon grows old
People are tired
we love you,
but we're tired,
we're tired,
we're tired,
we're tired

How long will you keep this up?
We all want to know:
is it really that hard
to break away?
Or are you chained to your "courage"
as Prometheus was chained to his rock

Your dignity has clearly gone
to the same place as his eyes--
To the vultures.
They wait for you every night,
calling your name in that soothing sort of way
they bargain for your troubles
to take away the angst

It doesn't work
it never does
but who am I to say?

Interesting title. Using another language as a title allows for the title to have quite a few meanings (one thing I love about Hebrew, actually). I'm glad you declined "animus" correctly
