Dies ist eine Phanart an den Kay-Roman angelehnt.Ihr fangt rechts unten an mit anschauen.
Dort sieht man Madelaine mit Sally auf dem Arm. Darüber ist ein Wald, in den der kleine Erik läuft, doch sein Weg endet in einem Käfig über dem der lachende Zigeuner trohnt. links davon seht ihr Rom, in der linken oberen Ecke funkelt euch stumm die Königsmutter aus Persien zu. Unter ihr lacht Reza. Darunter beäugt sein Vater Nadir die Mitte des Bildes. In der Ecke links unten: Ayesha mit dem Diamantenhalsband.
Im Zentrum des Bildes seht ihr Christine und Raoull de Chagny (mit der Hand in Augenhöhe), über ihnen, die Szene beherrschend und sein Punjablasse schwingend: Erik.
Hinter Erik seht ihr übrigens sein Heim, die Opera Garnier.
Natürlich gehört keiner von allen mir, sondern alle der großartigen Autorin Susan Kay. Schade eigentlich...

Mein Deutsch ist leider furchtbar, aber ich versuche es trotzdem. 
Ich habe dieses Bild schon 2007 gefunden, war aber damals noch nicht ein Mitglied von dA - und dan konnte ich es nicht wieder finden. Bis es in mein devWatch folder auftauchte.
Die Susan Kay Version ist meine Lieblingsversion (tut mir leid, Leroux) und ich liebe dieses Bild, vor allem die Sachen von Persien: Khanum, Reza, Nadir und natuerlich die Wueste und Palaste hinter die Khanum.

Wonderful work! I love Christine's dress and the city in the background especially. But there's such great detail spread throughout the whole thing it's hard to choose a favorite part.
If you don't mind my saying, however, Christine and Raoul's heads look a little big for their bodies. The rest of the picture makes up for it though! Really awesome.
