The perspective is more than curious; I feel like I am falling and yet rising. Very fast. Makes me a little dizzy, to speak the truth. And confused. I am not sure whether I should try gripping the arrow and hang in there or let go and run my way. If I just knew the direction (seriously, there's something so weird with up/down,forard/backward here!). Yet it all makes sense. Guess the "things are going my way" summarizes it right-on.
Also, I just had to try looking at this upside down and I was quite surprised how, saying straight, much more boring it looked like. Funny how small things can change everything.

Is it safe to assume you used a zoom lens and rotated the picture 180?
I wish I had a Canon since many of my favorite photographers use only that brand, but could you recommend me a best-quality-for-the-price fisheye and zoom lens that're compatible for a Nikon D50?
Oh, and, do you use a lens hood? If so, may I ask which kind/type?

I had a dream last night where i was photographing in a desert only sand all around. the sun was beating hot and the heat ripples caused the sand to look like a mirror. this dream being lucid, i composed the shot so that the horizon line was in the middle and the sun and its mirrored reflection in the sand were perfectly symmetrical. also, the sky was almost a pinkish orange. the shot was horizontal.
this reminded me of that.
I love dreaming in color, in digital, and in control of my mind in the dream....thank you for helping me remember such a vivid moment of slumber last night...the rest of the dream was equally photographic and cool. something about futuristic new years in las vegas like 30 years from now.

I really like how in this photo instead of the arrow pointing away, it points back at the viewer. The reflections are done amazingly well too. Plus the arrow looks like a pine tree hahaha... Great shot!
