ive been a little bit obsessed with vampires for oh, say, forever, so naturally i have a ton of vampire ocs with complex backstories and interpersonal relationships.anyway, this is maria, she was the youngest of six daughters born to a middle class merchant in the early 1800s near naples, italy. her parents couldnt afford to marry her off, and she was rebellious anyway, so they sent her to a convent. in the 1850s she met ilja, a passing vampire, and seduced him into turning her and taking her on a romantic and blood-soaked trip up the italian coast into constantinople, where he introduced her to his friend malika. maria promptly realized she was a lesbian and left ilja for malika, and theyve been happily married ever since.
