The first two volume so good as you mentioned. My personal fave is "Yellow" aka Yang trailer and volume two.
But I have no complaints for the first. First had a soul i enjoy the story the characters yeah sometimes they relatable but is okey for me . Something is missing in the new vols. I don't feel like it at the beginning but I'm still interested in what the characters are about doing. At the journey ends .
And yeah i missed so much the old soul .

Debating who in Team RWBY is hotter is difficult... we can however all agree Yang is the more eager, excited one of the series.
RWBY is a unique series... has many flaws... many... M-A-N-Y, but I love it regardless of that.
