So... That finale, huh?

I'm gonna be completely honest when I say this; the finale hurt. Like, really REALLY hurt. I've already said this, but DuckTales 2017 was something that gave me lot's of comfort doing my struggles in 2020. The show gave me a look at some characters that I'd grow to care and love, and hope that in the end that they eventually succeed. During 2020, I don't wanna say I was depressed, but I think I could say that it was the closest I've ever been to it in my life. I was unhappy, I was anxious, I was... afraid. Being stuck in my house and hearing about all the shit going on in this world - made me the biggest mess that I have been in a long time, I felt kind of like a zombie; I felt like I just shuffled through each day, just slowly rotting away. I found it extremely hard to care. But DuckTales gave me something to care about. And that, is something I could never thank the creators of this show enough for. It feels silly of me to become so sentimental over a cartoon, but it is my honest feelings. Nowadays, I feel a lot better mentally, but DuckTales was able to carry me through 2020 into 2021 alive.

When one adventure ends, another one begins.
