As a cub: Tazama kept Kuon hidden from the pride for a while, she was ashamed that she meddled with the royal family and caused tension between Kion and his siblings. She was hoping her son would look like her, but Kuon ended up being a splitting image of both Kion and Simba; she knew the entire pride could tell that he was the son of the consort prince. After a lot of convincing by Kiara, Kuon was allowed to play with the other cubs. But, after seeing his cousins play with their father Kovu, he grew sad that he doesn't have a father. His aunt Kitone is close to a father, she's also a single mother with two boys from Nuka, but it didn't seem the same. He found out that his father abandoned him and has no interest in raising him from Vitani, after this Kuon became depressed and wouldn't bother with anything. All hope was lost, until he met a strange lion? Lioness? He couldn't find the word, they said that they weren't a guy or a girl. The two grew close and they were the only one Kuon talked too. Until his father came back to the pride, Kion saw him and approuched him, before he can speak Kuon slashed his face and started cursing out Kion.

As an adult: Kuon stayed near the boarded of the Pridelands with his mate Kubusu, his cousin Wimbo would visit him a lot before he left to find his own pride. Kuon enjoys his simple life, occasionally he and his mate would bring some fruit from the tree he lives at to the pride in exchange for certain materials such as rocks or decorations. Every time he went there, he would get compliments saying how handsome he is and how much he looks like his grandfather Simba. He stopped thinking about his father, in fact he never saw Kion again and whenever Kion would come to visit, he stayed far away from him. Kuon isn't a talkative or empathetic lion, but he swears to never be like his father and care for his cubs.
