Description
This is a cubist sunset done in prismacolor. There are as many as eight layers of color in some areas, it was quite time consuming, but I loved the richness of the waxy prismacolors. You can really lay it on thick. The trees on the horizon looked to a friend to be the Parthenon and the idea stuck. Or at least the title did.Related content

nice colors, and the rippled pattern of lines is a nice way to break the image down.

This is very beautiful. It did remind me of a sunset, the colors in the right places and flowing together nicely.
