Festria fleets arrived in its orbit, intent of taking the planet, only to be met with a substantially large defense force of Kithium ships from the Kithium League. The moon was the biggest obstacle, controlling the local orbit with long range missile platforms that had to be wiped out. Even weeks int othe conflict, when dust and chunks of rock had been ejected from the surface of the Octavian moon, the battle still raged above and on the surface of the moon, while fleets dueled in the local space.
